The ancient yogis devised the chakra system as a map of the universal life force that exists in each of us. This map intended to awaken our awareness to the subtle energies that flow within ourselves and all around. Enter a journey of the many dimensions of your self, exploring of the seven chakras through meditation, mantra, pranayama and vigorous asana. Through the body, arouse the mind to the multi-dimensional diversity of being human, and enter a relationship with self that invites vitality and equanity.

Stress is an element of daily living. Our response to stress has a direct effect on our physical and emotional well-being. Blending traditional and therapeutic yoga techniques, this workshop gives participants the tools to literally breath easier, opening the way to meet life's challenges with equanimity and grace.
- Learn techniques to breath more efficiently
- Increase energy for daily living
- Become familiar with the mechanics of breath
- Release deep-seated tension in the living tissues
- Understand the physiological responses when put under pressure and how to use the breath to lessen the impact of stress
This workshop will focus on restorative practices, and is accessible to most people along the movement continuum. No prior experience with yoga is necessary. Class limited to 14 participants, please pre-register.
